OM Babydoll Krishna Blouse

This top came out so sweet! The base of the top is made from a maroon cotton calico that has an allover print of tiny peacock feathers. I designed it to be fitted and flattering in the bust, with darts and an empire waist for a feminine fit. It has a deep V-neckline. Below the bust the shirt flows into the super spinny bottom. I cut this part on the bias so it gathers beautifully all along the bottom of the shirt. The bottom is also cut at an angle, creating a V in the back, super sweet looking! On the back of the blouse I appliqued a big OM symbol in a light sunshine yellow with maroon flowers cotton calico. I added a light sunshine yellow trim along the neckline and under the bust. The trim under the bust turns into ties on the sides of the shirt, allowing your to adjust it slightly. The yellow OM and trim contrast beautifully with the base fabric, adding a summery feel to this sleevless blouse! This blouse will best fit a size medium to large, but please check the measurements below to be sure it will fit you.
